Based in Leicester, the Boxer Man is a small, friendly one man business specialising solely in BMW Motorcycles. The Boxer Man is a BMW enthusiast, which means a knowledge and a love of the machines. Our rates are highly competitive and in most cases you are welcome to watch your pride and joy being serviced - the coffee is always hot although you may have to make it!

Recommended BMW Service Intervals

It is recommended that major and minor services be carried out to your BMW Motorcycle at 5,000 miles (6,000 on later machines) or six monthly intervals, whichever is the shorter. If the bike is not used regularly or is used for short, local journeys, oils do deteriorate and may not provide the necessary lubrication.

Engine oil - in normal usage should be changed every six months at the latest.

Gearbox oil - should be renewed at least once a year.

Drive shaft oil - should be renewed at least one a year. (Not K or R1100)

Rear bevel drive oil - should be renewed at least once a year.

Front fork oil - should be renewed at least once a year (Not R1100)
